The Kestor Inn is named after Kestor Rock on the outskirts of Chagford.  Kestor Rock is the site of one of the best rockpools on the tors of Dartmoor.

Set in the village of Manaton, the Kestor Inn is a local village inn with a warm welcome  and wonderful atmosphere.

 

Our bar boasts a selection of local ales and cider.  There is also an extensive wine list to complement your meal.  The usual selection of beer, spirits and soft drinks are also available. 

 

Manaton lies wholly in the Dartmoor National Park and is surrounded by wonderful picturesque scenery as you would expect on Dartmoor.  The nearest town is Bovey Tracey, some 5 miles away.

 

Local attractions include Becky Falls, Bowermans Nose, St. Winifred’s Church and Hound Tor.  Not too far away, on the outskirts of Bovey Tracey, you can visit the House of Marbles—an excellent way to spend time on a wet day when you can’t get out on the moors.

 

Manaton is a favourite centre for walkers with walks starting from the Church and taking a circuit to Widecombe, Hound Tor and Haytor.
